On Tuesday, July 30, 2024, a site visit was made to our Tourism Guidance Department within the scope of our University's 2024 Self-Peer Evaluation Studies. 
Head of the Peer Review Team Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Elif Özgen and team members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sedat Altıntaş and Assoc. Assoc. Betül Bilgehan Dulkadiroğlu, the Head of the Department and Head of the Self-Assessment Team, Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. İsa Bayhan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ertuğrul Düzgün and Assoc. Assist. Seda Çiçekli Ayyıldız gave information about the department's studies, facilities and other activities within the determined criteria. During the visit, which was made to examine the academic and administrative structure of our department, to evaluate the quality of education and to observe the development process, the course contents and education methods of the department, the compliance of the current education standards with international criteria, the research projects and scientific studies of the department, social contribution studies, the effectiveness of the processes, the support services offered to students, internationalization studies, general education quality and satisfaction, and future expectations and needs were discussed. The members of our department's self-evaluation team expressed their gratitude to the evaluation team, who appreciated the educational activities of our department and made constructive contributions, and stated that they will continue their efforts to improve academic processes.
